• Straightness and Hoop Stress controlled tubing.
• Surface treatment on pin threads to prevent galling.

• The standards rods (A-WL, B-WL, N-WL, H-WL, P-WL, P/HWT-WL,140WL).
• The thin walled rods (BTW, NTW).

Generals characteristics

Our conventional core drilling rods are manufactured of cold drawn seamless steel tubing of high tensile and yield strength and of controlled straightness. The end couplings are manufactured of heat treated alloy steel.

The conventional core drilling rods are available as per the metric and DCDMA standards in two versions:

  • Either a threaded steel tube threaded box / box with a pin / pin coupling (diameters 42, 50 & AW), or

  • Pin / box end pieces friction welded on the cold drawn tube (Diameters 60, BW, NW, AWJ, BWJ, NWJ).

We can also supply on demand ultra-light drill rods in the diameters of 53, A and B which are an excellent alternative to the aluminum drill rods.
